Early in the week, the Seattle Seahawks’ injury report was an unsettling sight with around a third of the roster appearing on it. As the week has progressed, the health of the team has trended in the right direction with the exception of Rasheem Green, who was placed on injured reserve.

The Seahawks’ final injury report of the week had five players listed, including four who are questionable for Sunday.

Benson Mayowa (groin), Quinton Dunbar (knee), Neiko Thorpe (hip), and Cedric Ogbuehi (pectoral) are all questionable, while the aforementioned Green was declared out. Ogbuehi is yet to play this season, after suffering a pectoral strain toward the end of training camp.

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Carroll was optimistic about Mayowa and Dunbar’s chances of playing against the Cowboys on Sunday. Thorpe, however, sounds less likely to play. As a result, the team could activate someone from the practice squad for Sunday or use their open roster spot on a defensive back.

Carroll says he thinks Dunbar will be able to play Sunday but wanted to rest him a lot this week. Carroll more pessimistic about Thorpe being able to play. Says have to figure out what is going on with his groin issue.

While two important starters for Seattle’s defense will be game-time decisions, it appears Mayowa and Dunbar are trending in the right direction ahead of a big game against Dallas.
